The position: The Manager Quality Excellence (Digitalization, Systems & Data) is leading the Integration of Quality 4.0 to enable the development of a digital Quality Management System (QMS). The role is responsible for all aspects of an efficient and effective QMS and key to ensure the availability of appropriate applications/ tools, processes, and data to solve existing problems and strive for continuous improvement as well as innovation.

Responsibilities

WHAT YOU’LL DO  

  • Development and maintenance an effective and efficient Quality Management System (QMS) as well as document management system (DMS) with the target of an Integrated Management System (Quality Management system, BIQ, others).
  • Organize, track, and maintain information/ documentation in terms of various aspects of the Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Creation, coordination, follow up, and management of standard quality procedures, other documentation associated with the GD’s governing standards and their implementation across all sites through training and development of local teams.
  • Responsible for controlled external quality related documents.
  • Ongoing analysis (external/ internal) of available CAQ tools/ applications (external/ internal) and their integration to meet GD’s requirements in terms of process management, document management, quality data management, and others.
  • Development of a robust and digital COPQ data acquisition, analysis (AI based), and reporting.
  • Support in roll-out of standard defect types, inspection instructions (external/ internal).
  • Customized data analysis and reporting based on need by keeping the integrity of the system (structured reporting system)
  • Develop and maintain an audit system (part, process, system) to monitor system compliance to support a continuous improvement culture.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Your skills and abilities (required qualifications)

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a science or technical related field
  • Years of Experience: 5+ years of experience in quality systems, data analysis, and document management
  • Skills: Strong skills and mindset in problem solving and continuous improvement.
    • Self- disciplined professional with strong written and verbal skills
    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Ability to read and interpret documents such as operating and quality instructions (standard operation procedures)
    • Ability to speak and write effectively and professionally and effectively work with diverse groups.
    • Capable of working independently and willing to take initiative when discrepancies are found in the system.
    • Certified auditor (IATF, ISO 9001 or similar)
    • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to travel on short notice; Travel: 10-20%
